Overview

To authenticate with Readwise Reader, you will need:

1. Access Token - A key that grants secure access to the API, enabling authorized applications to interact with Readwise Reader resources and services.

This guide will walk you through generating your Access Token within Readwise.

Prerequisites:

• You must have an account with Readwise.

Step 1: Generating Your Access Token

1. Sign in to your Readwise account.
2. Navigate to the Access Token page.
3. Click on the Get Access Token button.

4. Your Access Token will be generated.

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your Access Token:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Readwise Reader.
2. Enter your Access Token in its respective field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Readwise Reader.
