Overview

To authenticate with MIP Cloud, you need three key pieces of information:

1. HOST_REST - The REST service URL for the cloud-based API service. (This is provided in your enrollment materials.).
2. YOUR_ID - Your login ID for MIP Fund Accounting.
3. YOUR_PASSWORD - Your password for MIP Fund Accounting.

This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within MIP Cloud.

Step 1: Finding the HOST_REST variable

• This is provided in your enrollment materials

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have the HOST_REST ID and ID and PASSWORD:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with MIP Cloud.
2. Enter the ID in the designated field.
3. Enter the Password in the password field.
4. Enter the HOST_REST in the HOST_REST Key field.
5. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to MIP Cloud.
