Overview

To authenticate with Gem, you need:

1. API key - A key that grants Nango permission to interact with Gem’s APIs resources and services.

This guide will walk you through obtaining your API Key within Gem.

Prerequisites:

• You must have an account with Gem.
• The API must be enabled for your account before you can generate API keys. To request access, reach out to your Gem point of contact (Customer Success Manager or Account Executive).

Instructions:

Step 1: Finding Your API Key

1. Login to your Gem account.
2. Navigate to your Team Settings.
3. Go to the Additional Settings section.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the API Keys section.
5. In the API Keys section, click Create API Key to generate a new API Key.

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your API Key:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Gem.
2. Enter your API Key in its respective field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.

You are now connected to Gem.
